The end of the project "Together We See More"

11/24/2024

In an inspiring atmosphere, full of pride in the results achieved and enthusiasm for future activities, on November 15, 2024, the final of the project under the slogan "Together WE PERCEIVE More" took place at the Center for Non-Governmental Organizations in Katowice. This event was the culmination of many months of work of members, supporters, adult artists and children, involved in the original program of the Association of the EU Enterprise Fund - "GREEN BRIDGE PARTNERSHIP AFRICA EUROPE". From 15:00 to 17:00, guests could admire the tangible effects of the project, which had been going on since June, and take part in discussions about further exciting projects.

Three Stages of a Creative Journey – From Clay to the Digital World

The “GREEN BRIDGE PARTNERSHIP AFRICA–EUROPE” project, aimed at building intercultural and intergenerational bridges, was carried out through three main activities:

June 22, 2024: Inauguration and “Brotherly Impressions”

The day began with the presentation of two large-format puzzles: one featuring the emblem of the “Green Bridge Partnership Africa–Europe” program, and the other showing the route of the “Transglobal Car Expedition.”

The highlight of the day was the “Brotherly Impressions” activity – the pressing of 36 ceramic tiles in clay and imprinting them with a stencil design.

Special attention was given to the inclusion of visually impaired participants, who actively contributed to the tile-making process and took part in sensory experiences such as a “darkness tasting.”
The day was enriched by artistic performances, including a Ukrainian vocal group and young gymnasts.

October 15, 2024: Colors of Cooperation on Ceramics

After the first firing, participants painted the tiles using ceramic paints.
This stage resulted not only in beautifully decorated elements of the future emblem but also inspired the creation of the “Play for the Future” computer game and the storybook “GIANT’S ALPHABET”, along with the idea for its theatrical adaptation.

Finissage “Together We PERCEIVE More” – Presentation of Achievements and a Window to the Future

On November 15, 2024, a day of celebration and reflection took place at COP Katowice, where the impressive outcomes of the project were presented:

  • 36 unique ceramic tiles, forming the program’s emblem, fired at the Academy of Fine Arts and mounted on a panel ready to decorate the wall of an institution supporting the partnership’s mission.

  • Two large-format puzzle editions, serving as educational and integrative tools.

  • A virtual game “Play for the Future”, bringing the project’s ideas into the digital world.

  • Staging the Story “Giant’s Alphabet” – Inspired by the Green Bridge Emblem and the Transglobal Car Expedition

The finissage was also an opportunity to highlight the added value of the project, including the storybook itself, its stage adaptation using hand-painted outlines of African animals (created by Jadwiga Garbaciok), and the previously mentioned computer game.
A particularly special moment was the live video link with Ambassador Diene Thiao from Senegal, the author of the fairy tale that inspired “Giant’s Alphabet”, as well as the presentation of photographic worksdepicting European animals.

The Power of Community and an Invitation to Future Actions

This event was a vivid example of the potential of intergenerational community activities, including the involvement of people with disabilities.
During the finissage, participants were warmly invited to take part in future initiatives of the Association of the EU Entrepreneurial Fund.

Special attention was given to the upcoming “International Celebration” planned for December 11, 2024, at “The Kingdom” – Rondo Sztuki in Katowice.
Everyone was encouraged to attend, especially those who could bring along at least one person from another country or continent.
This event also served as an opportunity for those interested in joining a network of schools open to international collaboration within the Transglobal Car Expedition project.

    Dialogue and Future Vision

Discussions held during the November 15 finissage aimed to encourage active involvement in the association’s forward-looking initiatives.
Participants shared their insights and expectations, emphasizing the need to continue inclusive, integrative activities, especially those involving foreigners, and to further develop and promote the creative outputs of the project, such as the storybook and the game.

“Together We PERCEIVE More” and the “GREEN BRIDGE PARTNERSHIP AFRICA–EUROPE” Program

Under the leadership of President Jadwiga Stalmach and the Association of the EU Entrepreneurial Fund, these initiatives once again demonstrated that shared passion and commitment can build real bridges of understanding and cooperation, delivering inspiring results and opening doors to new, promising initiatives.
